The English Music Festival
A major international classical music festival with world-class artists comes to Dartington Hall! The English Music Festival presents four days of recitals, concerts and talks, including The London Mozart Players, University of Exeter Chapel Choir, award-winning and immersive early music group The Telling, tenor James Gilchrist and cellist Raphael Wallfisch. Tickets are still available for all concerts and will be available at the door.

Frida Kahlo is a phenomenon. She is arguably the world’s favourite female artist – beloved by young and old. Exhibition on Screen’s award-winning film – first released during covid to a restricted audience - is back by popular demand with an exciting new addition from the blockbuster transatlantic exhibition from Tate Britain and MFA Houston 'Frida Kahlo: the Making of an Icon'. Back in the cinemas in May 2026, one month before the Tate exhibition opens, allowing audiences to watch both the film and see the show.

Elmhirst Heritage Centre Tour
Welcome to the Elmhirst Heritage Centre, our new indoor visitor destination at Dartington Hall. The Heritage Centre was once the private residence of Dorothy and Leonard Elmhirst, and you can book a guided heritage tour to get a sense of how the building looked in its 1960s heyday.
Exhibition: Dorothy's Gardens
The Elmhirst Heritage Centre’s spring exhibition, Dorothy’s Gardens, will open on Saturday 14th March. Featuring photographs from the archive and extracts from Dorothy Elmhirst’s own garden diaries, this display will bring to life the rapid development of the formal Victorian grounds into a thriving environment for horticulture, performance, and reflection.

Antiques Roadshow, Dartington Estate
Fiona Bruce and the Antiques Roadshow team will be back on the road this spring and summer filming series 49 which includes a visit to the beautiful and historic Dartington Estate, near Totnes.
Admission is strictly by ticket only, and applications are now open for free tickets with limited places - click below.
The team are hunting for a wide range of antiques, family heirlooms and vintage treasures. The Roadshow will feature specialists in the fields of jewellery, silver, ceramics and glass, pictures, rare books, clocks and watches, and militaria, as well as a team of experts with knowledge of all things collectable–from vintage fashion to furniture, from music and film memorabilia to collectable toys, from Art Deco to ancient antiquities.

Come along to this free, family-friendly event and have a leisurely browse around over 25 stalls - from artists to ceramicists, print-makers to glassblowers, artisan food, drink producers, to authors and more.
