Opera Forge: Wagner's Die Walküre
Go behind the scenes with one of the world's greatest Wagner performers as Sir John Tomlinson coaches Opera Forge's outstanding international cast in scenes from Die Walküre.
This rare opportunity offers a fascinating insight into the rehearsal process as Sir John shares his experience of performing Wagner's greatest roles on the world's leading stages, helping shape the next generation of singers.
In the evening, enjoy a concert performance of highlights from Die Walküre, performed by Opera Forge's exceptional cast and musicians.

A half-day workshop with Brian Norman. Create a unique collection of small books using Japanese paper and other decorative papers. Booking the combined ticket includes access to ‘Dorothy’s Japan, 1909’, an exhibition of a collection of unique hand-tinted photographs collected by Dorothy Elmhirst during her travels at the turn of the century.

Elmhirst Heritage Centre Tour
Welcome to the Elmhirst Heritage Centre, our new indoor visitor destination at Dartington Hall. The Heritage Centre was once the private residence of Dorothy and Leonard Elmhirst, and you can book a guided heritage tour to get a sense of how the building looked in its 1960s heyday.

Exhibition: Dorothy’s Japan 1909
The Elmhirst Heritage Centre's summer exhibition - Dorothy's Japan 1909 - runs from 11 July until 31 October. The exhibition includes unique hand-tinted photography collected by Dorothy Whitney (Elmhirst) during her tour of Japan in 1909.

Come along to this free, family-friendly event and have a leisurely browse around over 25 stalls - from artists to ceramicists, print-makers to glassblowers, artisan food, drink producers, to authors and more.
